The Saturday lunchtime fixture between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park catches the eye and is sure to be a great game. With Liverpool stuttering in the league and Steven Gerrard seemingly out of sorts it looks time to back Everton, especially at 13/5 with Bet365. At a big price in the first goalscorer market, take a look at Joleon Lescott. He has already scored five goals this season so the 25/1 on offer with a Blue Square looks rather generous.

The evening fixture on Saturday sees Manchester United travel to Villa Park and United look a worthwhile punt at 4/5 with Blue Square. They finally seem to be gelling and with the likes of Wayne Rooney in form they should be very hard to beat. Knowing that Aston Villa would see a draw as a point gained rather than two points lost it is not hard to envisage them setting themselves out in a defensive manner. On Monday night Spurs travel to Newcastle and this looks like a high scoring game bearing in mind neither side can defend but both sets of strikers know where the goal is. Bet365 have priced up the 3-3 draw at 66/1 and bearing in mind Newcastle won 3-1 and 3-2 against Spurs last season and Spurs drew 4-4 the last time they played on a Monday night it looks a little bit of value. At a shorter price, Bet365 are also offering 15/8 on more than 3.5 goals and this looks a lower risk bet that has to be backed.
