European player’s have an awful record in this event, the last European winner was back in 1969 in the shape of Tony Jacklin. With this in mind it is not surprising to see a number of top European players at long odds in the betting market. Luke Donald, Sergio Garcia and Padraig Harrington can all be backed respectively at best odds 28/1, 40/1 and 50/1 with either VC Bet or Sporting Odds.
